About Valle Del Sur Car Club, Morgan Hill, CA

The Valle Del Sur Region is one of 400 local and regional clubs that make up the national Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA).

While headquartered in Morgan Hill, California, the club has members in various surrounding communities in Nor-Cal including San Martin, Gilroy, Hollister, San Juan Bautista, and San Jose. While we could be called just a car club or auto club, our members have many classic and vintage cars as displayed in the MEMBER'S VEHICLES  page.

The AACA is the country’s oldest and largest automotive historical society.  Founded in Philadelphia in 1935, its membership has grown to over 60,000 from all parts of the world. The AACA holds countrywide competitive and noncompetitive meets and events. The aim of the AACA is the perpetuation of the pioneer days of automobiling by furthering the interest in and preserving of antique automobiles, and the promotion of sportsmanship and of good fellowship among all AACA members. The AACA uses the term “automobile” in a comprehensive sense to include all self-propelled vehicles intended for passenger use (cars, race vehicles, trucks, fire vehicles, motorcycles, powered bicycles, etc.). Similarly, the term includes various power sources such as gasoline, diesel, steam and electric. Motor vehicles of all types 25 years and older are eligible for activities.

The club, through its national office, produces a bi-monthly magazine, “The Antique Automobile”, which is the country’s foremost automotive historical magazine. Membership in Valle Del Sur requires both membership in the National AACA, $35.00/year, and Valle Del Sur Region of the AACA, $25.00/year. Ownership of a vehicle is not required for membership.
